Ticket Exchange – what it means for supporters

5th March 2026

Key points

  • The scheme is optional
  • There is no attendance tracking
  • You can release a seat and receive credit in return

We’ve worked with the club to clarify how the proposed ticket exchange would operate.

The aim is simple: if a game sells out but seats go unused, supporters can choose to release their seat so another fan can attend, while receiving credit on their account.

There is:

  • No requirement to share attendance
  • No tracking or penalties
  • No risk to season ticket status

Nothing has been introduced yet. Full details will be shared by the club before any launch

Our role
Supporters raised concerns about how this would work. We raised these with the club and worked to ensure clear, accurate information is shared.

Volunteers needed - Bradford City Community Foundation

Get involved

  • Support matchday activities
  • Help with community projects
  • Flexible commitment – as much or as little as you can offer

We are working with the Bradford City Community Foundation to support their work across the district

This includes a wide range of projects, from matchday activity to ongoing community initiatives such as wellbeing groups, local engagement, and development projects

Why it matters
This is about strengthening the link between the club and the community while supporting initiatives that make a real difference locally

We are building a group of supporters who are interested in getting involved. There is no minimum commitment – opportunities will be shared in advance so you can take part where it suits you.

Supporters Board Statement on Pyrotechnics

The Bradford City Supporters Board are dismayed at another example of Pyrotechnics being used during games by ‘fans’ of our club during the recent away games.

We urge fans as individuals to no longer participate in this activity, but also to whistle blow on any fans you see using them going forwards to the relevant authorities/club officials.

Not only do these pyrotechnics put fans and players at risk but the use of them does come with sanctions by the EFL which mean the club could end up being fined – and surely you would rather the club have that money to invest in the playing squad instead.

Finally, given our clubs history it is baffling why some fans have lost sight of the fact that smoke suddenly emanating from sections of the stands is going to cause undue stress to those who were impacted by the events of 11th May 1985.

For those that want to read further information regarding the dangers of Pyrotechnics at games, the EFL have published the below statement.

The club have also published the below statements related to previous issues with pyrotechnic use by City fans.
